HomeMy WebLinkAbout1998-2335 - Ordinance - 06/11/1998ORDINANCE NO. 7335 AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING A 3 097 ACRE TRACT, BEING THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR NORTH GRAHAM ROAD, LOCATED ALONG THE CRAWFORD BURNETT LEAGUE, A-7 AND ROBERT STEPHENSON SURVEY, A-54 LEAGUE LINES, IN THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS BETWEEN WELLBORN ROAD AND VICTORIA AVENUE. WHEREAS, the City of College Station has received an Application for the Abandonmem of a 3.097 acre tract, being the public right-of-way for North Graham Road, located along the Crawford Bumett League, A-7 and Robert Stephenson Survey, A-54 League lines, in the City of College Station, Brazos County, Texas between Wellborn Road and Victoria Avenue, said public right-of-way being more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto; and WHEREAS, on January 18, 1993, the City of College Station entered into a development agreement with Begonia Corporation in which the City agreed to abandon North Graham Road between Victoria Avenue and Wellborn Road as part of the Edelweiss Subdivision Master Plan; WHEREAS, on June 11, 1998, the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas heard the application from Begonia Corporation for the vacation and abandonment of North Graham Road between Victoria Avenue and Wellborn Road in the City of College Station, Brazos County; NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas, that the public right-of-way for North Graham Road, located along the Crawford Bumett League, A-7 and Robert Stephenson Survey, A-54 League lines, in the City of College Station, Brazos County, Texas between Wellborn Road and Victoria Avenue, being more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, be abandoned and vacated.
