A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, APPROVING AN AGREEMENT FOR A LOCAL ON-SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT PROJECT WITH THE STATE OF TEXAS ACTING THROUGH THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (“TXDOT”) FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A DYNAMIC MESSAGE SIGN WITHIN FM 2154 RIGHT OF WAY
WHEREAS, FM 2154 is owned and maintained by the Texas Department of Transportation; and
WHEREAS, any construction or improvements on Texas Department of Transportation right of way
must be approved through the Texas Department of Transportation permitting process; and
WHEREAS, the City of College Station agrees to the provisions stated in the Agreement for a local
on-system improvement project.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
PART 1: That the City Council hereby approves the Agreement for a local on-system improvement project with the Texas Department of Transportation for the construction of a dynamic message sign.
PART 2: That the City Council herby authorizes the City Manager to execute the Agreement.
PART 3: That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
