Agenda Item #1: Call to Order
Meeting was called to order by Hillary Jessup at 4:10 p.m.
Agenda Item #2-3: Hear Visitors
Anne B. introduced Cory Widner, Blinn student and new Project HOLD Volunteer.
Agenda Item #4: Absence Request
Absence requests were approved. (EA/ew)
Agenda Item #5: Approval of the minutes
Motion was made, seconded to approve the minutes of November 10, 2009. (EA/ew)
Agenda Item #6: Possible action and discussion on Open Meetings Act training.
Some HPC members have completed their Open Meetings Act training.
Agenda Item #7: Possible action and discussion on HPC Goals for 2009.
Discussion on some of the possible goals will be continued in February.
Agenda Item #8: Committee Reports:
Exploring History Lunch Lectures (Ernie, James and Hillary)
The sub-committee will meet on Friday, January 9, at the Conference Center to finalize the 2009 lecture speakers.
Historic Markers (Meredith, Hillary and James)
Meredith will present the Historic Home Marker #85 to the Drs. Tracey & Craig Scasta at the January 8th City Council meeting. The presentation had been cancelled in November. The sub-committee
will meet in February.
Oral History Project (Lou and Anne T.)
No report given. Susan is interested in pursuing taped interviews with all of the remaining mayors and working through Public Communications to accomplish this.
Project HOLD (Lou, Colleen, Susan and Anne T.)

Education Committee (Ernie, Earl and Lisa)
No report given.
Agenda Item #9: Possible action and discussion on the “Coffee with the MayorS”, exhibit opening and Project HOLD Open House.
Anne B. requested that HPC members attend the Coffee and volunteer to host the Project HOLD Open House.
Agenda Item #10: Possible action and discussion on the HPC Report to Council.
Anne B. stated that the report to council will be Feb. 26. Each sub-committee should look at the Progress Reports from last year that are posted on the Project HOLD website and compile
data significant to report.
