Spiral staircase – behind sanctuary
The organ was raised (and the carpet replaced) in the sanctuary after it flooded in the late 1990s in order to prevent damage in case of any future flooding.
The piano in the sanctuary was raised at the same time as the organ, also to prevent damage from flooding.
