HomeMy WebLinkAboutNotice of Runoff 2020 Election NOTICE OF RUNOFF ELECTION TO ALL QUALIFIED VOTERS WITHIN THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS 1. A runoff election will be held on April 18, 2020 for the purpose of electing City Councilmembers, Place 4 for an unexpired term. 2. The polling locations for each precinct are as follows: Vote Centers Vote Centers College Station City Hall 1101 Texas Avenue College Station, Texas College Station Utilities Meeting & Training Facility 1603 Graham Road College Station, Texas 3. The polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Election Day. 4. Joint early voting shall be conducted by personal appearance and by mail. The period for early voting by personal appearance for the runoff election shall be April 1 through April 14, 2020. Optical scan ballots shall be used for early voting by mail and direct recording electronic voting machines shall be used for early voting by personal appearance. The Early Voting Clerk for said elections shall be the Brazos County Elections Administrator. She shall determine the number of election workers to be hired and arrange for training of all election workers. Early voting by personal appearance for the runoff election shall be conducted jointly at the locations and on the following dates and times specified by the Brazos County Elections Administrator: Main Early Voting Center Location: College Station Utilities Meeting & Training Facility – 1603 Graham Road, College Station, Texas Early Voting Center Times: April 1 – April 3 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (Wednesday – Friday) April 6 – April 9 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (Monday - Thursday) April 10 VOTING CLOSED “Good Friday” (Friday) April 13 – April 14 7:00 am – 7:00 pm (Monday - Tuesday) Requests for application to vote by mail can be made by contacting the Early Voting Clerk at the following address: Early Voting Clerk, 300 E.
