1. Call meeting to order.
2. Presentation, possible action, and discussion of an ordinance canvassing returns and declaring results of
the General and Special Election, held on May 14, 2011, for the purpose of electing a City Council
Member Place 1, a City Council Member Place 3, a City Council Member, Place 5, submitting
propositions to the voters regarding the recall of Mayor Nancy Berry, City Council Member Katy-Marie
Lyles, Place 4, and City Council Member Dave Ruesink, Place 6. Presentación, posible acción y
discusión acerca de una ordenanza para sondear los resultados electorales y declarar los resultados de las
Elecciones Generales y Especiales celebradas el 14 de Mayo de 2011, para el propósito de elegir a un
Miembro del Consejo de la Ciudad para ocupar el Puesto Número 1, a un Miembro del Consejo de la
Ciudad para ocupar el Puesto Número 3, a un Miembro del Consejo de la Ciudad para ocupar el Puesto

Agenda Caption: Presentation, possible action, and discussion on the election of Mayor Pro
Tempore.
Summary: At the first meeting of each new City Council, one of the council members shall be
elected Mayor Pro Tem and shall hold the office for one year. It is the responsibility of the
Mayor Pro Tem to act as Mayor during the disability or absence of the Mayor. In this capacity,
the Mayor Pro Tem has the rights conferred upon the Mayor.
