City Secretary’s office, 9:00 a.m.
THURSDAY, AUGUST 22, 2019 Last day to file to file for a place on the ballot
to fill a vacancy- by 6:00 p.m.
FRIDAY, AUGUST 23, 2019 Last day to file as write-in candidate for
General/Special Election
MONDAY, AUGUST 26, 2019 Last day for a candidate to withdraw from
General and/or Special Election and have
name removed from ballot
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 21, 2019 First day to mail early ballots, if available
MONDAY, OCTOBER 7, 2019 Last day to submit voter registration
application to Brazos County Voter Registrar
MONDAY, OCTOBER 7, 2019 First report due of campaign and expenditures
by opposed candidates and specific purpose
committees
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 18, 2019 Last day to accept applications in person
for voting by mail ballot
MONDAY, OCTOBER 21, 2019 First day for early voting by personal
appearance
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 25, 2019 Last day to receive application by mail for a
ballot to be voted by mail
MONDAY, OCTOBER 28, 2019 Second report due of campaign and
expenditures by opposed candidates and
specific purpose committee
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 1, 2019 Last day for early voting by personal
appearance
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2019 Election Day, 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
NOVEMBER 8-16 2019 Period for official canvass of election
TUESDAY, DECEMBER 10, 2019 (tentative) Recommended Runoff Election Day,
if necessary
