COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Chairman Scott Shafer, Doug Slack, Mike Ashfield, Craig
Hall, Hugh Stearns, Bo Miles, and Jodi Warner of the City of College Station Planning and
Zoning Commission.
Chairman Michael Beckendorf, Commissioners Michael Parks, Bobby Gutierrez, G.H. Jones,
Scott Hickle, Prentiss Madison, of the City of Bryan Planning and Zoning Commission.
COMMISSIONERS ABSENT: Helen Chavarria, Johnny Bond, and Don Maxwell (Bryan
P&Z)
CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT: None
COLLEGE STATION CITY STAFF PRESENT: Jennifer Prochazka, Lindsay Kramer,
Jason Schubert, Lauren Hovde, Matt Robinson, Matthew Hilgemeier, Joe Guerra, Carol Cotter,
Alan Gibbs, Molly Hitchcock, Lance Simms, Bob Cowell, Carla Robinson, Deborah Grace-
Rosier, and Brittany Caldwell
BRYAN CITY STAFF PRESENT: Lindsey Guindi, Randy Hanes, Michelle Audenaert,
Julie Fulgham, Meredith Riede, Martin Zimmermann, Joey Dunn, and Paul Kasper
I. Call meeting to order.
Chairman Shafer called the College Station Planning& Zoning Commission meeting to order at
11:50 a.m.
Chairman Beckendorf called the Bryan Planning& Zoning Commission meeting to order at
11:50 a.m.
2. Introduction of the City of Bryan Planning& Zoning Commissioners and City Staff.
City of Bryan Planning& Zoning Commissioners and City Staff introduced themselves.
3. Introduction of the City of College Station Planning& Zoning Commissioners and City Staff.
City of College Station Planning&Zoning Commissioners and City Staff introduced themselves.

4. Presentation and discussion regarding density in general and an overview of redevelopment
efforts in downtown Bryan.
Julie Fulgham presented a video of the redevelopment of downtown Bryan.
Julie Fulgham, Paul Kasper, Joey Dunn, and Michelle Audenaert gave a presentation regarding
the City of Bryan's downtown redevelopment.
5. Presentation and discussion on an update to the Commissions regarding progress on the Research
Valley Bio Corridor.
Director Cowell gave an update regarding the progress of the Research Valley Bio Corridor.
There was general discussion amongst the Commissions regarding the Bio Corridor.
6. Discussion regarding possible agenda items for future joint Commission meetings.
Commissioner Slack stated that he would like a future agenda item regarding the progress of the
Bio Corridor.
7. Adjourn
Commissioner Stearns motioned to adjourn the meeting. Commissioner Slack
seconded the motion, motion passed (7-0).
Commissioner Jones motioned to adjourn the meeting. Commissioner Parks
seconded the motion, motion passed (5-0).
Meeting adjourned at 1:10 p.m.
