COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Chairman John Nichols, Harold Strong,
Marsha Sanford, Bill Davis, Dennis Christiansen and Glenn Schroeder.
COMMISSIONERS ABSENT:
Derek Dictson.
CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT:
None.
CITY STAFF PRESENT: Staff Planners Crissy Hartl, Lindsay Boyer, Grant Wencel and
Jason Schubert, Senior Planner Jennifer Prochazka, Planning Intern Hayden Migl, Planning
Administrator Molly Hitchcock, Assistant City Engineer Alan Gibbs, Graduate Civil Engineers

1. Call the meeting to order.
Chairman Nichols called the meeting to order at 5:35 p.m.
2. Discussion of consent and regular agenda items.
There was general discussion regarding Consent Agenda item 3.1 and Regular Agenda
items 6, 7,8 and 9.
3. Presentation, possible action and discussion regarding the funding process for Capital
Improvement Projects. (JK)
Jeff Kersten, Chief Financial Officer, gave a presentation regarding the processes for
funding Capital Improvement Projects.
4. Presentation, discussion, and possible action regarding CSISD's growth expectations.

Lance Simms gave a presentation regarding planning for growth for College Station ISD.
5. Presentation, discussion, and possible action regarding an overview of municipal
annexation procedures. (LS)

Lance Simms reviewed the calendar of upcoming events.
7. Discussion and possible action on future agenda items - A Planning and Zoning Member
may inquire about a subject for which notice has not been given. A statement of specific
factual information or the recitation of existing policy may be given. Any deliberation
shall be limited to a proposal to place the subject on an agenda for a subsequent meeting.
Commissioner Davis volunteered to speak about the AP A conference.
Commissioners also expressed interest in receiving additional information or training on
the topic of the ETJ and what authority the Commission does or does not have.

Commissioner Christiansen motioned to adjourn. Commissioner Sanford seconded
the motion, motion passed (6-0).
Workshop Meeting was adjourned at 7:00 p.m.
