Planning and Zoning Commission
CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS

COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Commissioners Shafer, Trapani, Williams, Davis, Hall
Reynolds and white.
COMMISSIONERS ABSENT: None.
COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT: Council Member Hazen.
STAFF PRESENT: Development Services Director Templin, City Planner
Kee., Senior Planner Battle, Assistant Development
Review Manager George, Staff Planners Hitchcock,
,
Reeves, Prchazla and Fletcher, Assistant City Engineer
McCully, Graduate Engineers Thompson and Cotter,
Assistant City Attorney Nemcik, Planning Intern Harrell
and Staff Assistant Hazlett.
AGENDA ITEM NO. 1: Discussion of consent and regular agenda hems.
Members required clarification regarding various items on both the consent and regular agendas.
Commissioner Hall requested a future discussion regarding enforcement of the new sign ordinance.
Development Services Director Templin will discuss this issue with Code Enforcement and the item
will be placed on a future agenda for discussion as Commissioner Hall requested.
AGENDA ITEM NO. : Discussion and appointment of subcommittee members for the East
Side Thoroughfare and Rand Use Update.
Transportation Planner Fgle explained the process of this project to begin in November for
completion in March 2004. Commissioners Trapani, Reynolds and Shafer will serve on this
subcommittee.
AGENDA ITEM N. 3: Discussion, consideration and possible action re: the joint meeting
with the Parrs and Recreation Board.

Staff confirmed the meeting date and time and items that will be n the agenda for discussion.

Adjourn.
Commissioner Davis motioned to adjourn the meeting and was seconded by Commissioner White.
The motion carried 7-0. The meeting adjourned.
