MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairperson Hawthorne, Commissioners Smith, Mariott, Gribou, Herring and Lane. MEMBERS ABSENT: Commissioner Hall. STAFF PRESENT: City Planner Kee, Planning Technician Thomas & City Engineer Pullen. AGENDA ITEM NO. 1: Approval of minutes from the meeting of April 15, 1993. Commissioner Smith moved to approve the minutes from the meeting of April 15, 1993 as written. Commissioner Herring seconded the motion which passed unopposed (4 - 0); Commissioners Herring and Mariott were not present during the approval of minutes. AGENDA ITEM NO. 2: Consideration of a final plat for the Benjamin Graham Subdivision located in the E.T.J.., on the northeast corner of Live Oak and Greens Prairie Road. (93-209) City Engineer Pullen presented the staff report and recommended approval. This final plat is located in the E.T.J. of College Station just east of the intersection of Wellborn Road and Greens Prairie Road. It consists of 2.00 acres and is being platted for the Wellborn Water Supply Corporation. Wellborn Water Supply requested a variance to the platting of this property as stated in the subdivision regulations. The City Council denied this variance request and required Wellborn Water Supply to plat the property in accordance with city regulations within 90 days. The Project Review Committee reviewed this plat on April 27, 1993 and had no problems. Commissioner Lane moved to recommend approval of the final plat for the Benjamin Graham Subdivision. Commissioner Herring seconded the motion which passed unopposed (5 - 0); Commissioner Mariott was not present during consideration of this item. AGENDA ITEM NO. 3: Consideration of a final plat for Brentwood Section 4, lots 1R-1 and 3R-1 of block 2, generally located on the northeast corner of Southwest Parkway and Texas Avenue. (93- 208) City Engineer Pullen presented the staff report and recommended approval of the final plat with the following conditions: -- The "30' wide mutual private access easement" shown between lot 2 and lots 1R-1 and 3R-1 of block 2, should note the volume and page number of the separate instrument filed for record or be included in this lnal plat with the owner of lot 2 being a party to the plat. -- Note the volume and page number of the separate instrument filed for record for the "30' x 50' private access easement" located on Texas Avenue between lot 1R-1 of block 2 and lot 2 of block 1. Commissioner Gribou moved to recommend approval of the final plat for Brentwood Section 4, lots 1R-1 and 3R-1 of block 2 with staff recommendations including the presubmission report comments. Commissioner Smith seconded the motion which passed unopposed (6 - 0). AGENDA ITEM NO. 4: Consideration of a final plat for Windwood Phase 7, generally located west of Appomattox Drive, east of Aldersgate Church and south of Windwood Phase II. (93-207) City Engineer Pullen presented the staff report and recommended approval of the final plat as presented. The conditions outlined in the presubmission conference report have all been met including the execution of the development agreement. City Engineer Pullen corrected the sidewalk comment in the staff report and stated that staff recommended a sidewalk along the south side of the most southerly street adjacent to the park. Commissioner Gribou moved to recommend approval of the final plat for the Windwood Phase 7 Subdivision with staff recommendations. Commissioner Herring seconded the motion which passed unopposed (6 - 0). AGENDA ITEM NO. 5: Other business. There was no other business. AGENDA ITEM NO. 6: Adjourn. Commissioner Marion moved to adjourn the meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission.
