April 3, 1986

Engineer Pullen and Planning Techn:ic:ian Volk
AGENDA ITEM N0. 1: Approval of Minutes - meeting of March 20,
1986.
Mr. Wendler made a motion to approve the minutes as presented; Mr. Paulson seconded
the motion which carried 4--0-2 (MacGilvray & Dresser abstained).
AGENDA ITEM N0. 2: Hear visitors.
No one spoke.
AGENDA ITEM N0. 3: 86-301: Preliminary Plat - The Estates of
Sandstone.
Mr. Callaway explained the plat e:•overs land in the ETJ, between the Sandstone and
Foxfire subdivisions, adding that a petition for annexation of this land has been
received and accepted by Council, and further t}-at an application to rezone this land
to R-1 Single Family Residential has been received by staff, and will be scheduled
for a public hearing as soon as annexation is complete. He si.ated that staff
recommends approval of this preliminary plat with Presubmission Conference conditions
as listed on the report. enclosed in the packets.
Mr. Paulson pointed out that the curve into Indian Trail does not meet minimum curve
reduirements and asked City Engineer Pullen why that, i.s being allowed, to which Mr.
Pullen replied that Indian Trail will eventually be a side street and a T-
intersc~ction is not required. Mr. MacGilvray asked i.f the approaching curve will be
properly signed and Mr. Pullen replied there will. be some signage with directional
barricades.
Mr. MacGilvray then made a motion to approve this plat, with Presubmission Coni~erence
conditions as listed on the report; Mr. Dresser seconded the motion.
Mr. Paulson referred t.o a note on t:he plat: which :indicat:es ghat, there will bc: no
parking around the cul-de-sac and these restrictions will be included in the deed
restrictions, then asked. if this street, should not be signed as only the residc;nt.s
can enforce deed restrictions and Mr. Pullen replied that the cul--de-sac will
probably be signed.
Vates on thc~ motion t.o approve were cast, with the mot.:ion carrying unan.itnousl~~ (6-0),

Mr. f3rochu made a motion to adjourn; Mr. Wendlc:r seconded the motion which carried
unanimously (6--0) .
