PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
March 5, 1973
7:00 P.M.

MEMBERS ABSENT: Commissioner:Bill Cooley and Council Liaison Don Dale

Agenda Item No. 1 - Approval of.the minutes of the February 19, 1973 meeting.
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman Calliham and on motion
by Commissioner Longley, seconded by Commissioner Boyett, the minutes of the
February 19, 1973 meeting were unanimously approved. Commissioner Miller asked
that the February 5, 1973 minutes be changed to indicate that he was in attendance
at that meeting.
Agenda Item No. 2 - P&Z Case No. 10-73 - The Anderson Ridge Subdivision preliminary
plat was presented by Don Martell and a motion was made to approve the plat with notifi-
catim given to the developer that the parkland required to be dedicated by Ordinance No.
690, the City Subdivision Ordinance, must appear on a masterplan of development and
shall be followed by a plat in accordance with the Subdivision Ordinance. Tenative
location for the parkland was indicated to be along a draw southeast of the Dobrovolny
Subdivision.
Agenda Item No. 3 - P&Z Case No. 11-73 - Fed Mart Preliminary Plat.
There was no Fed Mart representative present at the meeting. Since several questions
concerning the intent of the developer needed to be answered, Commissioner Boyett
moved to disapprove the plat due to a lack of information on the question of the proposed
intersection and Block #2. The motion, seconded by Commissioner Longley, was voted
on as follows: Commissioner Miller - for; Commissioner Chaney - for; Commissioner
Boyett - for; and Commissioner Longley - for; Commissioner Wallace - against and
Chairman Calliham - against.
Agenda Item No. 4 - Other Business. None.
Agenda Item No. 5 - Hear Visitors. Dr. Mathewson presented to the Commission a paper
concerning flood plain zoning for their review.
Agenda Item No. 6 - Adjourn. As there was no other business to discuss, the meeting
was declared adjourned.
