Agenda Item #1 - The meeting was called to order by the Chairman and on motion by
Commissioner Landiss, seconded by Commissioner Boyett, the minutes of the February
7, 1972 meeting were unanimously passed and approved.
Agenda Item #2 - P&Z Case No. 5-72 - A preliminary plat of Little Knight Subdivision,
a cul-de-sac consisting of 18 lots and 5.30 acres located off Park Place Street and be-
tween Leacreast Subdivision and Anderson Street extension. Certain problems con-
cerning this plat were discussed. Since the name of the street was felt to be in violation
of the subdivision ordinance, Mr. Martell stated that the final plat would show the street
as Riseman Circle. (The street had previously been shown as Bellard Circle.)
. Commissioner Boyett moved to accept the plat conditionally with modifications. The
motion was: Accept plat with the addition of a utility easement on Lot 7 connecting
the cul-de-sac with Leacreast Drive and with a provision for the dedication of a suitable
turn-around with the minimum radius acceptable to the City Engineer for Leacreast
Drive with the center of the turn-around to be located on the property line between
Leacreast Subdivision and the Little Knight Subdivision. The developer shall not be
responsible for any construction costs on the turn-around. The motion, seconded
by Commissioner Wallace, was unanimously passed and approved.
Agenda Items #3 and #4 - P&Z Case No. 6-72 and 7-72 - A master preliminary plat of
Ponderosa Place containing 24 commercial lots and 31. 03 acres of land and a master
preliminary plat of Deacon Place consisting of 22 commercial lots and 18.22 acres.
After some discussion of the street patterns and street widths as shown, Commissioner
Boyett moved to accept the preliminary plats conditionally with modifications to include
changing Longmire Drive to a 70-foot right-of-way and to allow a variance of the block
length in both subdivisions. The motion, seconded by Commissioner Wallace, was
unanimously passed and approved.
Agenda Item #5 - P&Z Case No. 2-72 - A final plat of Anderson Street. Commissioner
Boyett made a motion to approve the plat conditioned upon the developer providing adequate
drainage and drainage disposal facilities at the Anderson Street - Holleman Drive inter-
' • section, and providing all street lights, sidewalks and fire hydrants as required by the
subdivision ordinance. The motion, seconded by Commissioner Cooley, was unanimously
passed and approved.
