MINUTES OF PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
February 5, 1968
Present: Burns, Smith, Goehring, Janne, Horne, Parker, Cooper and Preston.
Visitors: Bob Schleider and Councilmen Bolt, Cooley and Adams.
1. The-meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m. The commission recommended to
the council that consideration be given to obt aining an 80-foot right-of-way on Lincoln
Street in order that it may be a major thor oughfare.
2. The preliminary plat for Memorial Square as submitted by Barney Stevenson was
considered. Action was deferred. Right-of-way of Nimitz Street needs to be
ascertained from city officials. Other features of the plat required further consideration.
