Minutes of the City Planning & Zoning Commission
Members Present: Dr. Edward E. Burns, Chairman; Everett E. Janne,
Edwin H. Cooper, Tommie H. Preston.
Visitors Present: Ran Boswell, North B. Bardell, Jr., W.D. Fitch.
The meeting of the City Planning and Zoning Commission was called
to order at 5:25 P.M., October 2, 1967.
Edwin Cooper made a motion, seconded by Tommie Preston that the
commission recommend to the Council that the final plat of Southwood II
be approved.
Everett Janne moved that the commission recommend to the Council
that the final plat of Southwood IV be approved. Burns seconded the
motion.
• The commission recommends to the City Manager that 30 M.P.H. speed
limit signs be erected and that the police be directed to continue
patrol and surveillance in order to control speed violation on Glade
Street.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:55 P.M.
