Minutes
January 9, 1967
Members Present: Dr. Edward E. Burns, Chairman; Ed Cooper, Robert
H. Schlieder, Jr. ; Wendell Horne; Tommie H. Preston;
Everett E. Janne; and W. A. Smith.
Others Present: Dr. O. M. Holt; V; . D. Fitch; Ran Boswell; and North
Bardell.
1. Meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m.
2. On a motion duly made and seconded, the Commission recommends to
the City Council that a point of 300' from Kyle Street to F. R. 30 on the
east side of Highway 6 be first business district, providing streets conform
to the proposed plan of the traffic sub-committee of the commission.
3. Traffic sub-committee reported on a proposed master plan on traffic
control for the City of College Station and Texas A&M University.
• 4. Meeting adjourned at 6:45 p.m.
