Minutes of Planning & Zoning Commission
• November 23, 1966
Members present: Dr. Edward E. Burns, Chair mar; Dr. Grady P. Parker;
"c•r.:raie H. Preston; W. A, S:tth; and Dr. Wendell Horne.
Meeting was call qc' to -yrder at 7:10 p.m.
Dr. Parker moved reccmmendation to Council that lots 4, 5, 6, block 10,
Boyett Addition be rep: d f:om District No. 3, Apartment House District,
to District No. 5, Second Business District. This includes the request of
A. W. Wortham for rezoning of rear 20 feet of lot 4, block 10, Boyett Addition.
Mr. Preston seconded the motion - vote was unanimous.
A discussion of isolated zoning for business in residential areas in order to
provide for services was held.
Dr. Parker, Mr. Preston, and Dr. Horne were designated to study this
problem and return to the commission with recommendations,
Meeting was adjourned subject to call.
