• MINUTES OF PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
July 7, 1966
Present: Chairman Burns, Janne, Horne, Preston, Smith, Schleider, City Manager
Boswell, and City Engineer Bardell.
Visitors: A & M Consolidated School Board members Wooten, Hensarling, Longley,
Isbell, Superintendent Riedel, and Councilman Homer B. Adams.
On motion by Schleider, seconded by Janne, the commission recommended to the
city council that action be taken to acquire right-of-way for the extension
of Park Place Street to Anderson Street, and that the right-of-way be dedicated
for Park Place Street to continue on to Highway 6 utilizing Spring Green Street
when possible. The commission further recommended that Anderson Street be
dedicated in a southeasterly direction along the school property to County Road
extension, and that County Road be dedicated from the city limits in an easterly
direction to Highway 6.
