Mayor Ernest Langford
City of College Station
College Station, Texas
Dear Mayor Langford:
I respectfully request that the City Council and the Planning and Zoning
Commission of the city of College Station give favorable consideration
to the re-zoning of a lot which I have recently acquired.
It is requested that Block B of the Tauber Addition be re-zoned from
District #2 Second Dwelling Housing District, to District #3 for
apartments.
• The above lot fronts on Cherry Street, 134 feet and extends back 402
feet. The reason for this request is that this lot is adjacent to Lots 2, 3,
and 4 of Block A of the Matt Cooley Sub-Division of the Tauber Addition,
which I now own and which is zoned for type 3 apartments.
Since Block A is already zoned apartments, it seems logical that the Block
which joins should be zoned apartments. I believe the apartments I am
building on Block A are a nice addition to this part of College Station and
will be an asset to the city. I assure you that any use of Block B will also
be attractive and in keeping with the buildings now being erected on Block
A.
Respectfully submitted,
J. . Hervey
