A wd'�'WL av-, "6 00337 \b� I MINUTES OT SPECIAL ME7TDTG June 29, 1950 The City Council met in special session at 9:30 a. m. on June 29, 1950 with the following members present: Mayor Langford.; Councilmen Badgett, Black, Fitch, Halpin, and Orr; City Manager Rogers; and Assistant City Secretary Boswell. The purpose of the meeting was to consider proposed changes in and approval of the budget for the fiscal year 1950-51, and to authorize certain sewer improvements within the College Hills area. . After deleting certain items in the proposed budget and shifting other items, on motion by Councilman Orr, seconded by Councilman Badgett, the budget was approved in its final form and the City Manager was authorized to mare all corrections so that the budget would be effective July 1, 1950. On Motion by Councilman Orr, seconded by Councilman Halpin, the City Manager was authorized to negotiate with Mr. C. L. Andrews on a, unit cost basis for certain improvements in sewer extensions in the College Hills area. The City Manager was further instructed to prepare in detail for the council an outline of such extensions and improvements and report to the council at its regular meeting on July 10, 1950.
