Visitors present; Coulter Hoppess and Erwin Smith. Mr. Hoppess presented for the Bryan -College Traction Company for permission to discontinue the selling of tokens by the bus company. This will affect a rise in the rate charge to the patrons of the Traction Company in that heretofore tokens have been sold at ten cents each or two for fifteen cents, but discontinuing the sale of tokens will. make all tokens sell at ten cents each. This request was necessitated by the increased costs of operation and maintainence of the Traction Company's buses. A motion was made by Councilman Orr and seconded by Councilman Ames that the request be approved. The vote was unanimous in favor of the motion.
