OF THE BRYAN PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD
• September 16, 1997
1. On the 16th day of September 1997, the Library Board of the City of Bryan, Texas met in a regular
meeting at the construction site of the College Station Library at 800 FM 2818, College Station, Texas and
the following members were present:

Also present was Mrs. Clara B. Mounce, City Librarian; Mrs. Nan Ross, Senior Reference Librarian; Mrs.
Kathleen Dill, College Station Librarian, and Mrs. Laura E. Mills, secretary/Library.
3. Charlie Shear from the City of College Station directed a tour of the construction site. Visitors present
were Larry and Jean Ringer, Bill and Ruth Lancaster, Ed Holdredge, Dorcas Moore and Claude Mounce,
3. The previous minutes for July 1997 were approved.
4. Monthly statistics for July and August 1997 were sent in the mail-out.
5. The By-Laws committee submitted revisions for the restructured Library Board to take effect in January
1998. The proposed by-laws were briefly discussed.
7. There were no librarians' reports.
8. There was no old business discussed.
9. No new business was discussed.
10. The next board meeting will be in November at the Bryan Public Library auditorium.
11. The meeting adjourned at 6:00 p.m.
