Clara Mounce Bryan Public Library - -_ _ 201 East 26th Street -Bryan, Texas - - 77801 - - - - - - - Dear Mrs. Mounce: I very much enjoyed meeting with you and your staff on April 6. It gave me an opportunity to learn generally about Bryan Pulbic Library and more specifically about the Library's programs for children. I found you .staff both enthusiastically involved in children's programming and determined to expand the scope of-services offered to children. Susan and Ldis_descri'bed current and .future library activities with me. Bryan Public appears to have full calendar of children's programs. I was most encouraged to see both children's services librarians willing to take-risks and experiment with new and unfamiliar programming ideas. Most impressive are the activities planned to support the Texas State Library's Suiraner Reading Program. The degree of coordination and pre- paratiorn_:invblved in such an undertaking speakes well of the creativity and organizational ability of your staff. Equally impressive.are the efforts of' your bookmobile librarian to integrate children's programming into the established-.routine of bookmobile service. Thank you again- for the. enjoyable and informative- visit. --I look- forward - to visiting with you and your staff again.
