The presentation will include an update regarding the single stream recycling pilot project and results of a Request For Proposals (RFP No. 15-053) that closed on August 17, 2015. This workshop item will also provide information regarding a consent agenda item for a recycling collection franchise ordinance and service agreement that is on the Consent Agenda. Budget & Financial Summary: At present, the provision of recycling collection services and associated public education programs accounts for $2.82 out of the $14.40 monthly sanitation fee charged to each customer.
