1. Call meeting to order.
2. Presentation, possible action, and discussion of an ordinance of the City Council of the City of College
Station, Texas, canvassing returns and declaring results of the general election, held on November 5,
2013, for the purpose of electing a Mayor and one Councilmember, Place 2. Presentaci6n, posible
acci6n y discusi6n de una Ordenanza del Consejo Municipal de la Ciudad de College Station, Texas,
sondeando los resultados electorales y declarando los resultados de las elecciones generales celebradas
el 5 de noviembre de 2013, con el prop6sito de elegir a un Alcalde y a un Miembro del Consejo
Municipal Puesto 2.
3. Issuance of Certificates of Election to elected Mayor and City Council Member Place 2; and administer
Oaths of Office. Entregar de los Certificados de las Elecciones al Alcalde y al Miembro del Consejo
Municipal Puesto 2 electos; y administrar los Juramentos al Cargo.

4. Executive Session will be held in the Administrative Conference Room.
Consultation with Attorney {Gov't Code Section 551.071 }; possible action. The City Council may seek
advice from its attorney regarding a pending or contemplated litigation subject or settlement offer or
attorney-client privileged information. Litigation is an ongoing process and questions may arise as to a
litigation tactic or settlement offer, which needs to be discussed with the City Council. Upon occasion
the City Council may need information from its attorney as to the status of a pending or contemplated
litigation subject or settlement offer or attorney-client privileged information. After executive session
discussion, any final action or vote taken will be in public. The following subject(s) may be discussed:

a. Legal advice related to the College Station power supply contract
Personnel {Gov't Code Section 551.074}; possible action -The City Council may deliberate the
appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer.
After executive session discussion, any final action or vote taken will be in public. The following
public officer(s) may be discussed:
a. Interim City Manager
b. Municipal Court Judge
Economic Incentive Negotiations {Gov't Code Section 551.087}; possible action The City Council may
deliberate on commercial or financial information that the City Council has received from a business
prospect that the City Council seeks to have locate, stay or expand in or near the city with which the City
Council in conducting economic development negotiations may deliberate on an offer of financial or other
incentives for a business prospect. After executive session discussion, any final action or vote taken will
be in public. The following subject(s) may be discussed:
a. Economic incentives for a proposed development located generally near the intersection of
University Drive and College Avenue.

9. Presentation, possible action, and discussion on future agenda items and review of standing list of
Council generated agenda items: A Council Member may inquire about a subject for which notice has
not been given. A statement of specific factual information or the recitation of existing policy may be
given. Any deliberation shall be limited to a proposal to place the subject on an agenda for a
subsequent meeting.

Texas Central Railway Briefing

Agenda Caption: Presentation and discussion regarding the Texas Central Railway by its
President, Robert Eckels.
Staff Recommendation: Presented for information and discussion.
Summary: Texas Central Railway is a private, for-profit Texas company, working to bring
high-speed, high-tech rail to Texas with a route between Dallas/Fort Worth and Houston in
the next ten years. The bullet trains are anticipated to move at speeds over 200 miles per
hour with a travel time of 90 minutes between the two metropolitan areas. Texas Central
Railway is working closely with JR Central to utilize the N700-I Bullet Train system.
