Call meeting to order. 2. Executive Session will be held in the Administrative Conference Room. Consultation with Attorney {Gov't Code Section 551.071 }; possible action. The City Council may seek advice from its attorney regarding a pending or conten1plated litigation subject or settlement offer or attorney-client privileged information. Litigation is an ongoing process and questions may arise as to a litigation tactic or settlement offer, which needs to be discussed with the City Council. Upon occasion the City Council may need information from its attorney as to the status of a pending or contemplated litigation subject or settlement offer or attorney-client privileged information. After executive session discussion, any final action or vote taken will be in public. The following subject(s) may be discussed: Litigation a. College Station v. Relationship to Strategic Goals: All Recommendation: Staff recommends that the Council receive the presentation. Summary: The Law Office of Dan Shelley was retained seven years ago as the City’s state legislative lobbyist. Jennifer Shelley Rodriguez will present an update to the Council on the recently completed legislative session and discuss municipal related legislation that will impact the City and address any questions from the Council. Relationship to Strategic Goals: • Diverse Growing Economy Recommendation(s): N/A Summary: The College Station Independent School District is exploring the possibility of including a Natatorium as part of an upcoming bond package. This presentation reviews current ISD/City relationships regarding construction, operations, and maintenance of Natatoriums. Several facility operations around the state were studied. Of particular note is the Conroe ISD Natatorium and the Corpus Christi Natatorium due to their close proximity to the CSISD project scope.
