Historic Preservation Committee
Monday, November 07, 2016 — 4:00 pm
Municipal Court at 300 Krenek Tap Road
College Station, Texas 77842.
The City Council may or nsay not attend the Historic Preservation Committee Regular Meeting.
1. Call to Order and announce a Quorum.
2. Possible action and discussion on absence requests.
3. Possible action and discussion of previous minutes.
4. Hear Visitors. Visitors after stating name and address for the record may address the Historic
Preservation Committee for three (3) minutes. Topics for deliberation shall be discussed under the
appropriate agenda iters, placed on the agenda of a subsequent meeting, or assigned to staff for
research. However, a statement of specific factual information or the recitation of existing policy
may be issued
5. Discussion on historic home/house tours.
6. Review, possible action, and discussion regarding the sub -committees and programs of the Historic
Preservation Committee, including:
• The American Mile at Veterans Park
• Historic Marker Program -applications
• College Station Oral History Interviews & Educational Initiatives
• Exploring History Lunch Series
• Website discussion
• Project Hold report
7. Report by the Director of Parks and Recreation on matters pertaining to the Historic Preservation
Committee.
8. Identification of upcoming local or area historical programs or activities to be placed in a calendar
of events.
