Action Requested Coventry Glen Realty is sub-leasing the subject property
from University Title Company. The existing ordinance requires two stalls in the woman's
bath based upon utilizable square footage. Coventry Glen requests a variance for the
reasons attached.

COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING FOR A VARIANCE REQUEST
The following specific variation from the ordinance is requested.
Coventry Glen requests permission to have one stall only in the women's bath because the
proposed design and use of the lease space normally has only 4-5 women on the premises
at a time.
This variance is necessary due to the following special conditions.
The cost of adding and additional stall (appx. $5,000) and the loss of usable square
footage would significantly impede Coventry Glen's use of the building. Also, the usable
square footage is only marginally over the threshold for one stall.
The following alternatives to the requested variance are possible.
If the variance is not approved, then Coventry Glen would loose an important storage area
necessary to its business operations as well as accrue substantial additional construction
costs.
This variance will not be contrary to the public interest by virtue of the following
facts: The nature of Coventry Glen's business is such that customers seldom are in the
office of Coventry Glen and most of the time most of the Agents conduct their business
with customers off premises.
The facts stated by me in this application are true and correct to the best of my knowledge.

FORMAT FOR NEGATIVE MOTION FOR A VARIANCE
I move to deny a variance from the terms of this ordinance for the following reasons: A
variance would be contrary to the public interest; no special conditions exist by which a
strict enforcement of the provisions of the ordinance would result in unnecessary
hardship to this applicant; in addition, granting a variance would not observe nor
accomplish substantial justice.
