ORDINANCE NO. 185
AN ORDINANCE RECEVING CERTAIN TERRITORY ADJOINING THE LIMITS
OF THE CITY INTO AND INCORPORATING THE SAID AS A PART OF THE CITY
OF COLTR.GE STATION, TEXAS
1. Inasmuch as the majority of the qualified voters residing
in a certain territory adjoining the limits of the City have voted
in favor of becoming a part of the City, and inasmuch as three of
there have submitted and affidavit to that fact.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of College
Station:
That said certain territory shall be and the same is hereby
received into and incorporated as a part of the City of College
Station, Texas, said certain territroy being more particularly
described as follows, towit:
Beginning at the most Easterly corner of the Southeast College
Park Addition to the City of College Station as recorded in the
Deed Records of Brazos County dated November 7, 1947, Volume
132, Page 493, also Volume 140, Page 1.58 dated October 15, 1949;
Thence North 450 East along the North line of an old county
road, a distance of 1,512 feet to the most Easterly corner of
the Schwartz property:

Thence South 45 East, a distance of 1,100.5 feet, to the most
Easterly corner of Lot 1, Block 11, of the said Knoll Addition:
0
Thence South 45 West, a distance of
Easterly corner of Lot 1, Block 10,

Thence South 67 West, a distance of
Southerly corner of Lot 1, Block 7,
0
Thence North 45 West, a distance of 349.4 feet, to the most
Westerly corner of Lot 3, Block 7, of the said Knoll Addition:
Thence South 45 West, a distance of 198 feet, to the most
Southerly corner of Lot 5, Block 7, of the said Knoll Addition:
0
Thence North 45 West, a distance of 201 feet, to the most
Westerly corner of Lot 5, Block 7, of the said Knoll Addition:
0
Thence North 45 East, a distance of 150 feet to the most
Northerly corner of Lot 5, Block 7, of the said Knoll Addition:
310 feet, to the most
of the said Knoll Addition:
1,242.3 feet, to the most
of the said Knoll Addition:
Thence North 45 West, a distance of 80 feet, to the point of
beginning.

2. The fact that the inhabitants of aforesaid described
territory are without benefits of municipal government creates
and emergency, and an emergency is hereby declared to exist,
and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately
from and after it has been passed and approved.
