AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING CERTAIN TERRITORY ADJOINING THE CITY LIMITS OF
THE CITY INTO AND INCORPORATING THE SAME AS A PART OF THE CITY OF
COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 613.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas:
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 p.m. on
March 24, 1969 on the question of receiving certain territory into the city limits:
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has heard all parties pertaining thereto, has
determined the following:
Upon compliance with Article II, Section 7, of the City Charter and applicable
laws of the State of Texas, the following territory shall be incorporated within the city
limits:
Tract 1: Beginning at an iron rod in the Northeast right of way line of State
Highway No. 6, said iron rod more fully described as being the most
Southerly corner of a tract of land incorporated as a part of the City
of College Station and defined in Ordinance No. 544 of the City of
College Station and dated 23 October, 1967;
/ Thence N 44° 47' E a distance of 2, 000 feet to a point;
(,Thence in a Southeasterly direction and parallel to the Northeast
C right of way line of State Highway No. 6, 6100 feet more or less
to a point, said point being 20.0 feet southeasterly of the most
southerly right of way line of Millers Lane;
Thence South 45° W approximately 2, 000 feet to a point in the Northeast
R.O. W. line of State Highway No. 6;
Thence in a westerly direction 790 feet, more or less to a point, said
point being in the North right of way line of FM 2818 and defined by a
concrete monument;
Thence, continuing along said R. O. W. line as hereinafter further described:

Thence N 45° E through the F. A. Dobrovolny tract and on a line between
tie Morgan Smith tract and the Leon Stasney 15.0 acre tract a distance
of 2,280.0 feet to a corner;
Thence in a northwesterly direction along the west right-of-way line of
State Highway No. 6, a distance of approximately 1100.0 feet to a point
for a corner;
Thence in a northeasterly direction across the State Highway No. 6 right
of way to the place of beginning and containing 993.19 acres, more or less.

Tract II: Beginning at a point in the Northeast Right of Way line of FM 2154,
said point also being the most southerly corner of the Southland
Addition in the City of College Station as defined in Ordinance 225,
Thence in a southeasterly direction with the northeast right of way
line of FM 2154 a distance of 1, 320 feet to a point,
Thence S 26° 55' E a distance of approximately 956.4 feet to the
intersection of the northeast right-of-way line of FM 2154 and an
extension of the north right-of-way line of FM 2818,
Thence N 86° 10' W a distance of 1484.6 feet to a point,
Thence N 89° 09' W a distance of 43.3 feet to a point, said point
being in the most westerly right-of-way line of the Missouri
Pacific Railroad,
Thence N 18° 20' W a distance of approximately 1,350 feet to a
point, said point being in the present city limit line,
Thence N 45° E a distance of 1,114 feet along the present city limit
line to the place of beginning and containing 54. 75 acres more or
less.
Upon the recommendations of the Planning and Zoning Commission, the following
described areas shall be zoned as District No. 4, First Business District, this property
being more particularly described as follows:
C-2 : Beginning at a point in the Northwest right of way line of
FM 2818 in the Crawford Burnett League in Brazos County, Texas,
North 45° 25' 30" east 1581.94 feet from the most southerly corner
of a 26. 216 acre tract conveyed to the Area Progress Corporation
by C. M.R. Deacon, et ux, by Deed Record in Volume 275, Page 645
of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas. Thence, North 29° 46' 31"
west, 681.65 feet; thence North 44° 07' 46" east 1200 feet to the
southwest right of way line of Farm Road 2818; thence, along the
southwest and northwest line of FM 2818 as follows: South 29° 46' 30" east
265.9 feet; South 110 07' 30" east, 285.9 feet; South 18° 51' . 30" west,
369.0 feet; South 41° 46' 30" west, 401 feet; South 45° 25' 30" :'west,
418. 06 feet to the point of beginning.

C-3: Beginning at a point in the southwest line of FM Road 2818 in
the Crawford Burnett League in Brazos County, Texas, where said
line crosses Bee Creek. Thence, south 30° 16' 30" east, 22 feet
along the southwest line of FM 2818; thence South 14° 13' 30" east,
235.9 feet, continuing along the southwest line of FM 2818, thence
South 44° 07' 46" west, 500 feet; thence North 350 52' 14" west,
337. 5 feet to Bee Creek; thence down Bee Creek with its meanders,
to the place of beginning.
C-4: Lot 1, Lakeview Acres.

C-7: Beginning at a point in the Northeast right of way line of
Highway 6; thence to a point 550 feet, southeast on Highway 6,
beginning of said tract; thence North 43° 10' east 300 feet;
thence South 45° east, approximately 550 feet; thence South 60° 32' west,
approximately 300 feet; thence North 45° west 540 feet to the place
of beginning.
Upon the recommendations of the Planning and Zoning Commission, the following
described areas shall be zoned as District No. 2, Second Dwelling House District,
this property being more particularly described as follows:
D-1: Beginning at a point in the northwest line of that 166.57 acre
tract in the Crawford Burnett League in Brazos County, Texas,
conveyed to the Area Progress Corporation by Mrs. Tennie Jones,
et al, by deed recorded in Vol. 256, page 136 of the Deed Records
of Brazos County, Texas, South 45° 41' 23" W - 300.77 feet from
the most westerly corner of the West Knoll Addition to the City of
College Station, Texas, as described by plat recorded in Volume
272, page 552 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas;
Thence S 48° 24' 11" E - 671.17 feet parallel to and 300 feet
from the southwest line of the said West Knoll; thence S 52° 40' 28" W -
771.46 feet; thence S 64° 15' 38" W - 162.52 feet; thence
N 25° 44' 22" W - 344.88 feet; thence N 34° 18' 37" W - 200.0 feet
to the northwest line of the said 166.57 acre tract; thence
N 45° 41' 23" E - 727.33 feet along the northwest line of the said
166.57 acre tract to the point of beginning and containing 11. 532
acres of land, more or less.

Upon the recommendations of the Planning and Zoning Commission, the following
described areas shall be zoned as District No. 3, Apartment House District, that
property being more particularly described as follows:
A-1: Beginning at the most westerly corner of that 166.57 acre
tract in the Crawford Burnett League in Brazos County, Texas,
conveyed to the Area Progress Corporation by Mrs. Tennie Jones,
et al, by deed recorded in Volume 256, page 136 of the Deed
Records of Brazos County, Texas.
Thence S 45° 10' 37" E - 1047.22 feet along the southwest line of
the said 166.57 acre tract to an extension of the centerline of
Southwest Parkway; thence along the extension of the centerline
of Southwest Parkway as follows: N 50° 50' 23" E- 1204.90 feet;
N 56° 12' 53" E - 278. 77 feet; N 61° 35' 23" E - 224.81 feet;
thence N 28° 24' 37" W - 601.65 feet along the Max Powell tract
to the most westerly corner of the said Powell tract; thence
S 52° 40' 28" W - 933.22 feet; thence S 64° 15' 38" W - 162.52

200. 0 feet to the northwest line of the said 166. 57 acre tract;

A-2: Beginning at a point in an extension of the centerline of
Southwest Parkway in the Crawford Burnett League in Brazos
County, Texas, S 86° 39' 44" E - 1541.63 feet from the most
westerly corner of a 166. 57 acre tract conveyed to the Area
Progress Corporation by Mrs. Tennie Jones, et al, by deed
recorded in Volume 256, page 136 of the Deed Records of Brazos
County, Texas.
Thence S 50° 50' 23" W - 371.55 feet along an extension of the
centerline of Southwest Parkway; thence S 39° 09' 37" E - 343.09 feet;
thence S 40° 32' 02" E - 399.89 feet; thence S 41° 54' 27" E -
310. 0 feet; Thence N 48° 05' 33" E - 416. 71 feet; thence

F. M. Road No. 2818 in the Crawford Burnett League in Brazos
County, Texas, N 450 25' 30" E - 564.30 feet from the most
southerly corner of a 26. 216 acre tract conveyed to the Area
Progress Corporation by CMR Deacon, et ux, by deed recorded
in Volume 275, page 645 of the Deed Records of Brazos County,
Texas.
Thence N 45° 03' 14" W - 336. 23 feet to the P. C. of a curve
to the right (13=300' ); thence along the arc of said curve through
a central angle of 89° 11' to the P.T. of said curve; thence
N 44° 07' 46" E - 901.6 feet; thence S 29° 46' 31" E - 681.65 feet
to the northwest right of way line of F. M. Road No. 2818; thence
S 45° 25' 30" W - 1017.64 feet to the point of beginning and
containing 15. 924 acres of land more or less.
A-4: Beginning at a point in Bee Creek in the Crawford Burnett
League in Brazos County, Texas, N 79° 50' W - 673.3 feet
from the most northerly corner of a 26.216 acre tract conveyed
to the Area Progress Corporation by C. M.R. Deacon, et ux,
by deed recorded in Volume 275, page 645 of the Deed Records of
Brazos County, Texas.
Thence S 35° 52' 14" E - 337.5 feet; thence S 44° 07' 46" W - 900.0 feet;
Thence N 45° 52' 14" W - 650.0 feet to Bee Creek; thence down Bee
Creek with its meanders to the place of beginning and containing 15 acres
of land more or less.
Upon the recommendations of the Planning and Zoning Commission, the following
described areas shall be zoned as District No. 3-A, Mobile Home Park District, this
property being more particularly described as follows:
MHC -1: ( Tract 1): Beginning at an iron rod in the Northwest line
of Stasney Lane located S 45° 00' W 2258. 09 feet from the iron rod
marking the east corner of the tract of land conveyed to Glynn A.
Williams, et al, by deed recorded in Volume 254, page 432, deed
records of Brazos County, Texas, to which reference is here made;
thence N 45° 00' W for a distance of 747. 90 feet to an iron rod in the
northwest fence line of said Williams tract; thence S 45° 00' W along
a fence line for a distance of 234.81 feet to an iron rod for corner;
thence S 54° 10' 58" E for a distance of 757. 60 feet to an iron rod
for corner in the northwest line of Stasney Lane; thence
N 45° 00' E along the northwest line of Stasney Lane for a distance
of 113. 91 feet to the Place of Beginning, containing 2. 994 acres of
land, more or less.

MHC -1: (continued) (Tract 2) : Beginning at an iron rod in the
northwest line of Stasney Lane located S 45° 00' W 2372. 00 feet
from the iron rod marking the east corner of the above mentioned
Williams Tract described in Volume 254, page 432, Deed Records
of Brazos County, Texas;
Thence N 54° 10' 58" W for a distance of 757.60 feet to an iron rod
for corner in the Northwest fence line of the said Williams tract;
thence S 44° 51' 12" W along said fence line for a distance of 193.4
feet to an angle point; thence S 44° 48' 33" W continue along said
fence line for a distance of 246.33 feet to an iron rod for corner
marking the west corner of said Williams tract; thence S 47° 06' 56" E
along a southwest side of said Williams tract for a distance of 433. 08
feet to an iron rod for corner; thence N 45° 18' 54" E along a common
line between this tract and the Hall tract for a distance of 205.8 feet
to an iron rod for corner; thence S 47° 38' 43" E along a common line
between this tract and said Hall tract for a distance of 313 feet to an
iron rod for corner in the northwest line of Stasney Lane; thence
N 45° 00' E along the northwest line of Stasney Lane for a distance
of 324.3 feet to the Place of Beginning, containing 6. 853 acres of
land, more or less.
