AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING CERTAIN TERRITORY ADJOINING THE LIMITS OF THE CITY INTO
AND INCORPORATING THE SAME AS A PART OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS AND
ZONING THE TERRITORY AS RECOMMENDED BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas:
Upon compliance with Article II, Section 6, of the City Charter, the
following territory shall be incorporated within the city limits and zoned as
recommended by the Planning and Zoning Commission:
Tract No. I
Beginning at the common corner of the A. L. Holik 40 acre tract and that tract
of 166.57 acres of land in the Crawford Burnett League in Brazos County, Texas,
conveyed to Area Progress Corporation, by Mrs. Tennie Jones, et al, by deed
dated 1 June 1966 and recorded in Volume 256, page 136 of the Deed Records of
Brazos County, Texas, in the southwest line of the South Knoll Addition to the
City of College Station, Texas.
Thence S 43° 15' W - 300.0 feet along the line between the said Holik 40 acre
tract and the Area Progress Corporation 166.57 acre tract;
Thence S 50° 50' 34" E - 463.37 feet;
Thence S 67° 23' 30" E - 240.0 feet;
Thence N 42° 36' 30" E - 190.0 feet to the southwest line of the South Knoll
Addition;
Thence N 47° 23' 30" W - 684.7 feet along the southwest line of the South Knoll
Addition to the point of beginning and containing 4.22 acres of land more or
less according to a survey made in June 1968.
This property is hereby zoned as District No. 1, First Dwelling House District.
Tract No. 2
Beginning at an iron rod at the most southerly corner of the South Knoll
Addition to the City of College Station, Texas, in the Crawford Burnett League
in Brazos County, Texas. This point an inside corner of a 166.57 acre tract
conveyed to Area Progress Corporation by Mrs. Tennie Jones, et al, by deed dated
1 June 1966 and recorded in Volume 256, page 136 of the Deed Records of Brazos
County, Texas.
Thence S 47° 201 E - 404.58 feet along the present city limit line to the northwest
line of Southwest Parkway;
Thence S 59° 09' W - 583.66 feet along the northwest line of Southwest Parkway
to an iron rod;
Thence N 30° 51' W - 561.65 feet to an iron rod;

Thence N 42° 36' 30" E - 400.0 feet to the southwest line of the South Knoll
Addition, being a point in the present city limit line;
Thence S 47° 23' 30" E - 300.0 feet along the southwest line of the South Knoll
Addition to the point of beginning and containing 7.00 acres of land more or less
according to a survey made in June 1968.
This property is hereby zoned as District No. 3, Apartment House District.
