AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE QUESTION OF REZONING
A TRACT OF LAND OUT OF THE VICTOR DOMINIK AND ALBERT DOMINIK TRACTS OF
LAND BEING OUT OF THE RICHARD CARTER LEAGUE, BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS FROM
DISTRICT NO. 1, FIRST DWELLING HOUSE DISTRICT, TO DISTRICT NO. 3, APARTMENT
HOUSE DISTRICT.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas:
WHEREAS, the City Council on its own motion, in the absence of an operable
Planning and Zoning Commission,has recommended that all that land described herein
be rezoned as District No. 3, Apartment House District.
It is hereby ordered that a public hearing shall be held in the City Hall at 7:00 p. m.
on May 27, 1968 on the question of rezoning areas within the city limits as follows:
1. To rezone or change the classification from District No. 1, First Dwelling
House District, to District No. 3, Apartment House District, a tract of land out of the
Victor Dominik and Albert Dominik tracts of land and being out of the Richard Carter
League, Brazos County, Texas and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the NE right-of-way line of State Highway 30, said point
being N 45°42.2'E a distance of 1504. 74 feet from the most northerly corner of the
intersection of State Highway No. 6 and State Highway No. 30.
Thence continuing N 45°42.2'E a distance of 2386' ± to a point for a corner, said
corner also being in the S. E. line of the proposed Munson Avenue extension.
Thence N 45°29'W a distance of 1500' to a corner.
Thence S 44°31'W a distance of 216.15' to an iron rod for a corner.
Thence N 25° 43'W a distance of 212. 2' to an iron rod for a corner.
Thence S 44°31'W a distance of 2324. 55' to a corner.
Thence S 46° 52.4'E a distance of 1684, 72' to the place of beginning containing
90. 84 acres of land more or less.
Notice of said hearing shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the City
of College Station, Texas, at least three (3) times, the first publication of which shall
not be less than fifteen (15) days prior to the date fixed for the hearing.
