`ihe meeting; was called to order at 7:15. Present were
Chair. -Ilan, Lou IIod-es; ! embers, lion i artell, -Hatheleen
Henefic ;, Dave Turello, Jim Luscombe, Asim-ehling;
Councilman, Larry inter; Park Plannerl Andy Czims'cv;
and Parks Director, Paul Tojciechowski..
1. The minutes here accepted.
2. Bob yell Property. City Council approved the
pro nerty and it has been purchase:?.

the grant? Paul ;ojciechowski said that we would
know the priority catas;ory assigned to the project
in late Septei,iber and that fundin,; does not necessarily
always reflect lOfl;o' of the protect application. Don
then asked if an architect will be hired.? Paul said
it hadn't been decided yet. Pon wanted to know if
'aids would be taken or if it would be an inhouse
project? Paul said this would be left up to the
Committee and then City Council.
1,11 in all, von feels that there should be no more
delay and that action should be taken now to get
Oaks Park underway.
A motion was then made that this g -roup be given the
authority to interview and recommend a ciesi n tear.;
to the council for completion of Cans Park and be
given permission to work with the design team for
impleme:ltatio n of such plat=. The motion was passed.
A subcommittee was then formted ivri-th ion Martell as
head, Jim Luscombe and Dave urello as members with
their char, -:,c Nein;_; the Development of Oaks Park,
4.Developer's 'lectin- it was decided that the Sept. 27
meetin- with the developers be posponed until October
11, giving the committee last minute preparation for
the meeting.
