Agenda Item No 1 -- Approval of minutes.
The minute for April 11, 1978 were approved.
Amenda Item No. 2 -- Closed meeting to discuss applications for Parks
Director.
The meeting was closed in order for the Parks Board i' -:embers to discuss
applications for Parks Director.
Agenda Item No 3 -- Open meeting. Report on Anderson Park.
One resident of Lemontree showed to hear about the progress on Anderson Park.
Anderson Park will be ready by 5iay 15, 1978.
Agenda Item No. 4 -- Consideration of questionaire.
This item was not discussed due to lack of time.
Agenda Item No. 5 -- Other business.
Three residents who live at the corner of Park Place and Fairview attended
the meeting to discuss the ballfield at Wayne Smith II. They do not want
the advertising signs that make up the fence around the field. They think
they are unattractive and do not want to look at them.
Andy pointed out that these signs brinm in revenue for the Little League
and that if the promise to repaint the signs and take them down as soon
as the season ends, would that be all rirght to the residents.
The resident said no.
Andy said he would look into city ordinances on signs.
