AN ORDINANCE REZONING FOUR TRACTS OF LAND LYING AND BEING
SITUATED IN THE ROBERT STEVENSON LEAGUE A-54 IN BRAZOS COUNTY,
TEXAS, CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS AND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY
DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE FROM
AGRICULTURE-OPEN DISTRICT A-O TO GBNBRAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT C-i,
SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT R-1 AND SINGLE FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT R-lA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the Community
Center at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 28, 1985, on the question
of rezon~ng certain areas within the City Limits;
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classification of the following four (4)
tracts of land all lying and being situated in the Robert
Stevenson League A-54 in Brazos County, Texas, and being parts of
the 81.24 acre tract conveyed to Krenek Tap Property by Stephen
L. Baker, et-al, by deed recorded in Volume 636, Page 655 of the
Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas and being more particularly
described as follows:
TRACT NO. l:
BEGINNING at a 5/8" iron rod found marking the northwest corner
of said 81.24 acre tract, said rod also lying in the proposed
southwest right-of-way line of State Highway No. 6;
THENCE S 45°58'04" E - 531.18 feet along the said right-of-way to
the POINT OF BEGINNING;
THENCE: S 45°58'05'' E - 670.00 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE: S 40°15'26'' E - 201.00 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE: S 45°58'04" E - 127.20 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE: N 78°07'09" W - 336.83 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE: S 52°35'41" N - 185.97 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE: N 42°40'01'' N - 692.61 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE: N 56°07'22" E 34.01 feet to a point for corner;

and containing 6.5104 acres of lend, more or less, from

81.24 acre tract; said rod also lying xn the proposed southwest
right-of-way line of State Highway No. 6 and the northwest line
of Barton Road;
THENCE: S 45°22'41" W - 545.12 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE: N 43°29'32** W - 434.65 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE: N 52'35'41" E - 359.72 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE: S 78°07'09*' E - 404.83 feet to e point for corner;
THENCE: S 04°25'45'* E 67.79 feet to a POINT OF BEGINNING, and
containing 4.5232 acres of land, more or less, from Agriculture-
Open Dxstrict A-O to General Commercial District C-1.
TRACT NO. 3:
COMMENCING: at a 5/8" iron rod found marking the east corner of
the 81,24 acre tract; said rod also lying in the proposed
southwest right-of-way line of State Highway No. 6 and the
northwest line of Barton road;
THENCE: S 45°22'41" W - wxth the northeast line of said 81.24
acre tract for a distance of 545.12 feet to e corner for the
PLACE OF BEGINNING;
THENCE: S 45°22'41*' W - with said northeast lxne for a distance
of 371.36 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE: N 43°05'24" W - 274.12 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE: N 15°32'19'' W - 64.63 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE: N 43°06'23*' W - 176.98 feet to a point for corner in the
proposed Sixty Foot Drainage Eight-of-Way;

southwest right-of-way line of State Highway No. 6;

District R-1.
And, it is ordained that said changes shall become effectively
immedxately.
