A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS, SELECTING A CONSULTANT, APPROVING A CONSULTING CONTRACT
AND AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS FOR THE CITY CENTER
CONCEPTUAL PLANNING SERVICES.
WHEREAS, the City of College Station solicited proposals for the consulting services; and
WHEREAS, the selection of Brinkley Sargent Architects is being recommended as the most
highly qualified provider of the conceptual planning services; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas:
PART 1:

That the City Council hereby finds that Brinkley Sargent Architects is
the most highly qualified provider of the City Center Conceptual
Planning Services on the basis of the demonstrated competence and
qualifications.
PART 2:
That the City Council hereby approves the contract with Brinkley
Sargent Architects for an amount not to exceed $34,600.00 for the City
Center Conceptual Planning Services.
PART 3: That the funding for this Project shall be as budgeted from 1998
General Obligation Bond Funds in the amount of $34,600.00.
PART 4: That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its
passage.
ADOPTED this 9th day of March, A.D. 2000.
