McGinnis Gentlemen: We find ourselves in what could prove to be an embarrassing sit- uation in the sale of $375,000.00 bonds. The city has a contract with Rowles, Winston & Company of Houston to handle the $110,000.00 bonds voted in 1951, and that company has raised the question as to the sale of those bonds by another company. In order that we may settle this matter amicably with Rowles, Winston & Company, and clarify the pro- cedure for Moroney, Beissner & Company, I have arranged with Mr. Rennie Baker to be here Monday night, January 10.
