COUNTY, TEXAS, AND IS A PART OF A 75.2 ACRE TRACT OF LAND CONVEYED TO W. M. DOWELL BY DEED RECORDED IN VOLUME 185, PAGE 409 OF THE DEED RECORDS OF BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS, FROM DISTRICT NO. 1 (SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) TO DISTRICT NO.3 (APARTMENT DISTRICT), AND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS: WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended that all land described herein be rezoned from District No. 1 (Single Family Residential) to District No. 3 (Apartment District), It is hereby ordered that a public hearing shall be held at the City Hall in College Station, Texas at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 241971, on the question of rezoning certain areas within the ci ty limits as follows: All that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the Morgan Rector League in College Station, Brazos County, Texas, being a part of that 75. 2 acre tract conveyed to W. M. Dowell by deed recorded in Volume 185, page 409 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas, and being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows: Beginning at a fence corner in the southeast right of way line of State Highway No. 30, S 450 W - 2546 feet from the southwest right of way line of State Highway No. 6 By -Pass East. Thence S 450 E - 1124 feet to the College Station Corporate Boundary; Thence S 450 W - 1608 feet with said Corporate Boundary; Thence N 450 W - 1124 feet to the southeast right of way line of State Highway No. 30; Thence N 450 E - 1608 feet with the southeast right of way line of State Highway No. 30 to the point of beginning and containing 41.5 acres of land more or less, from District No. 1 (,Single Family Residential) to District No. 3 (Apartment District). Notice of said hearing shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the City of College Station, Texas at least three times, the first publication of which shall be not less than 15 days prior to the date fixed for the hearing.
