The City Council may or may not attend the
BVSWMA, Inc. Board of Directors Meeting
1. Call to Order
2. Hear Visitors: Constituents may address the Board on any item that
does not appear on the posted Agenda. Please limit remarks to three
minutes. The Board will receive the information, ask staff to look into
the matter, or place the issue on a future agenda. Topics of operational
concern shall be directed to the Executive Director. Comments should
not personally attach other speakers, Board or staff.
3. CONSENT AGENDA
The Consent Agenda consists of routine Corporation business approved
in a single motion and by majority vote of the Board without separate
discussion on any item. Items may be removed from the consent
agenda for separate consideration at the request of any Board Member.
a. Discussion, consideration, and possible action regarding the
Minutes of the April 16, 2014, Meeting of the Brazos Valley Solid
Waste Management Agency, Inc. Board of Directors.
4. REGULAR AGENDA
This portion of the agenda consists of items requiring individual
consideration by the Board.
a. BVSWMA, Inc. Financial Report.
b. Receive and discuss staff and Executive Director's report on landfill
and compost facility operations, and Rock Prairie Road Landfill
closure.
c. Discussion, consideration, and possible action relating to the
Citizen Recycling and HHW Survey.
d. Discussion, consideration, and possible action relating to revising
the registered agent on file with the Texas Secretary of State.

e. Discussion, consideration, and possible action relating to
BVSWMA, Inc. Budget for Fiscal Year Ending September 30,
2015.
f. Discussion, consideration, and possible action relating to
BVSWMA, Inc. Board Appointments and Officer Elections.
g.
Discussion, consideration, and possible action regarding future
agenda items.
5. Executive Session
a. Section 551.074, Texas Government Code, Personnel deliberation
regarding duties of the Executive Director.
b. Section 551.071, Texas Government Code, Receive legal advice
from attorney about pending litigation and retention of litigation
counsel to handle appellate process.
c. Section 551.072, Texas Government Code, Deliberation regarding
grant of proposed license to third party for purposes of pipeline
construction.
d. Section 551.072, Texas Government Code, Deliberation regarding
grant of lease to third party concerning Brazos County mineral
interests.
6. Discuss, consider, and possible action regarding matters discussed
pursuant to Agenda Item 4.
7. Next Meeting Date: September 17, 2014.
8. Adjourn.
The Board reserves the right to go into executive session to seek legal
advice regarding any agenda item at any time during the meeting
pursuant to the Texas Government Code, Section 551.071.
