Agenda Item No. 1 - Council Concerns.
Councilman McIlhaney informed the Council that she had ~equested
the staff to prepare pie charts depicting revenues and expendi-
tures for inclusion in the budget.
Councilman McIlhaney stated that Peggy McCormick of Deloitte
Haskins & Sells had informed her that they will begin the city's
annual audit on April 29, 1985. She noted that Ms. McCormick
would like to schedule a meeting with the Council Audit Review
Committee sometime between the 22nd and the 24th of April.
Mayor Halter suggested some restructuring of the Council Audit
Review Committee to include some noncouncilmembers. He stated
his desire to serve on the committee because of his expertise
the a~ea.

A~enda Item No. 3 - Consideration of an Ordinance fixing and de-
termi____~ni_n_q_the General Service Rate to be charged {~ sales of
natural ~as to residential and commerc~~u[mers in College
Station, Texas.
Councilman Boughton moved approval of Ordinance No. 1583 fixing
and determining the General Service Rate to be charged for sales
of natural gas to residential and commercial consumers in College
Station, Texas.
Councilman Runnels seconded the motion which was approved unani-
mously, 5-0.

Agenda Item No. 4 - Presentation of Service Plaques to City Coun-
cilmen.
Mayor Halter presented Dr. Alvin Prause, Councilman Place 1, with
a service plaque for his contributions to the City of College
Station, Texas.
A~enda Item No. 5 - Consideration of a Resolution concernin~ bal-
lot serial numbers for the April 6, 1985 Joint City/School Elec-
tion.
City Secretary .Jones presented the item. She stated that the
proposed resolution delineates the distribution of ballots in the
voting precincts for the election of three councilmen.
Councilman Runnels moved approval of Resolution No. 04-10-85-05
concerning ballot serial numbers for the April 6, 1985 Joint
City/School Election.
Councilman Boughton seconded the motion which was approved unani-
mously, 5-0.

A~enda Item No. 6 - Canvassing of Election Returns.
City Secretary Jones presented the item. She noted that since
the CSISD was the authority conducting the Election the sealed
envelopes will be returned to them. She reported that Dr. E.E.
Burns, Presiding Judge, Central Counting, made his official re-
port to the CSISD Board of Trustees. She presented copies of the
election returns to the Council. She explained Resolution No.
04-10-85-6A, which lists the total number of votes cast loc each
candidate and declares that in accordance with the Law, Fred

Brown was elected to City Council Place No. 1; Theresa (Terri)
Tongco was elected to City Council Place No. 3; and, James B.
Bond was elected to City Council Place No. 5. She stated that
Resolution No. 04-10-85-6B provides the results of Proposition
No. 1, the sale of Pecan Tree Park, and states that the voters of
the City of College Station have authorized the City Council to
sell Pecan Tree Park.
Councilman Prause moved approval of Resolution No. 04-10-85-6A
and Resolution No. 04-10-85-6B canvassing the election returns.
Councilman McIlhaney seconded the motion which was approved unan-
imously, 5-0.

Municipal Court Judge Davis swore in Fred Brown, Councilman Place
No. 1; Theresa (Terri) Tongco, Councilman Place 3; and James B.
Bond, Councilman Place 5. Judge Davis stated words of congratu-
lations and encouragement to all r~ewly electe.~ o~fici~ls. He of-
fered a public note of thanks to outgoing Councilmen Prause,
Anderson and Reinke.
Mayor Halter presented the new Councilmembers with their Certifi-
cates of Election.
Mayor Halter swore in Kay Choate, Municipal Court Clerk, and
Sandra Wade, Assistant Municipal Court Clerk.
A~enda Item No. 8 - Closed session to discuss pendin~ litigation

The Council moved to closed session and later reopened to the
public.
