THE THOMAS CARUTHERS LEAGUE, ABSTRACT 9, BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS, AND BEING MORE PARTICU-
LARLY DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS IN THE BOOY OF THIS ORDINANCE, FROM AGRICULTURAL
OPEN OISTRICT A-O TO SINGLE FAMILY OISTRICT R-1.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Council

AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classiflcat~on of all that certain 2.99 acre trace or parcel
of land in the Thomas Caruthers League, Abstract 9, Brazos County, and being part of
the ~0.5 acre tract and part of the 5.0 acre tract conveyed to James O. Freeman by
5. L. S]uder by deed recorded in Volume 156, Page 610, and Volume 161, Page 591, Deed
Records of Brazos County, Texas, and being more partlcularly described by metes and
bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at an iron rod at a fence corner in the Southwest line of Rock
Prairie Road at the most Northerly corner of the said Freeman 5.0 acre tract;
THENCE S 2°02'59'' W, along the Northwest boundary line of sa~d Freeman tract,
for a distance of 556.51 feet to an iron rod for corner:
THENCE S 7q°30' E for a distance of 169.10 feet to an iron rod for corner;
THENCE N 15°30'E for a distance of 567.15 feet to an iron rod for corner in
the Southwest llne of Rock Prairie Road;
THENCE N 79°27'29'' W, along said Southwest ROW line, for a distance of 299.67
feet, to the POINT OF BEGINNING, and containing 2.99 acres of land, more or less
from Agricultural Open District A-O to Single Family District R-1.
And, it is ordained that said change shall become effective immediately.
