AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING A PORTION OF A UTILITY
EASEMENT IN THE MORGAN RECTOR LEAGUE, COLLEGE STATION, BRAZOS
COUNTY, TEXAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE
STATION, TEXAS:
Pursuant to a request filed on behalf of the property owner,
Lewis Kirkpatrick, the City Electrical Department relocated a guy
wire. The adjacent property owner conveyed to the City a new
easement for the relocation of the guy line. The prior ten (10)
foot public utility easement, more particularly described in the
attached Exhibit A, is no longer necessary and is hereby aban-
doned and vacated. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute on
behalf of the City of ColleGe Station a 0uit Claim Deed to Lewis
Kirkpatrick and wife, Lois Kirkpatrick, conveyin~ the ten (10)
foot easement as described in the attached Exhibit A.

Station, Texas, ten (10') feet in width through that 31.80 acc:
tract conveyed to Lewis J. Kirkpatrick, et ux, by deed records I
in Volume 290, Page 362 of the Deed Records of Brazoa Count~,
Texas, and lying five (5') feet each side of the followi~
described centerline:
Commencing at intersection of the southeast line of the
31.80 acre tract and the southwest line of Dartmouth Street.
Thence N 23' 34' 08" W - 192.54 feet along the southwest line of
Dartmouth Street to the P.C. of a curve to the right (R-1180')=
Thence along the arc of said curve in the southwest line
Dartmouth Street through a central angle of 2" 33' 33", the chor!
of which bears N 22" 17' 22" W - 52.7 feet to the Point of
Beginning of this Easement=
Thence S 6~° 59' 25" W - 15.0 feet thr6ugh the said Kirkpatrlcc
tract to the end of this easement.
