AN ORDINANCE REZONING A 65.00 ACRE TRACT OF LAND LYING AND BEING
SITUATED IN THE S.W.ROBERTSON SURVEY, COLLEGE STATION, BRAZOS
COUNTY, TEXAS AND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BY METES AND
BOUNDS IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE FROM C-1 GENERAL COMMERCIAL,
A-P ADMINISTRATIVE-PROFESSIONAL AND A-O AGRICULTURAL-OPEN TO C-1
GENERAL COMMERCIAL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE
STATION, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the City Hall
at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 13, 1986 on the question of
rezoning certain areas within the city limits;
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classification of all of a 65.00 acre
tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the S.W.
Robertzon Survey in College Station, Brazoz County, Texas, being
a part of that 172.81 acre tract conveyed to Area Progress
Corporation by deed recorded in Volume 822, Page 836 of the
Official Records of Brazos County, Texas and being more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning in the southeast line of Green's Prairie Road,
N 43'04'02" E - 1200 feet from the most westerly corner of the
said Area Progress Corporation tract.
Thence S 46°55'58" E - 1180.51 feet through the said Area Progress
Corporation tract to the southeast line of same;
Thence N 42°07'45" g - 2000.00 feet along the southeast line of
the said Area Progress Corporation tract;
Thence N 9'19'39" # - 885.74 feet through the said Area Progress
Corporation tract;
Thence N 40°07'40'' W - 500.00 feet continuing through the said
Area Progress Corporation tract to the southeast line of Green's
Prairie Road;
Thence S 41'52'23" # - 2419.59 feet along the southeast line of
Green's Prairie Road to an angle point;

Thence S 43*04'02" # - 180.41 feet continuing along the
southeast line off Green's Prairie Road to the Point of Beginning
and containing 65.00 acres of land more or less, from C-1
General Commercial, A-P Administrative-Professional end A-O
Agricultural-Open to C-1 General Commercial.
And, it is ordained that eaid change shall become elective
immediately.
