HomeMy WebLinkAbout1986-1633 - Ordinance - 02/13/1986(see:NOTE) ORDINANCE NO. 1633 AN ORDINANCE REZONING TWO (2) TRACTS OF LAND TOTALLING 10.84 ACRES LYING AND BEING SITUATED IN THE MORGAN RECTOR LEAGUE, ABSTRACT NO. 46, COLLEGE STATION, BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS AND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS IN TEE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE, FROM A-P ADMINISTEATIVS-PROFESSIONAL TO C-1 GENERAL COMMERCIAL. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS: WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 P.M. on February 13, 1986 on the question of rezoning certain areas within the city limits; AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following: To rezone or change the classification of the following two (2) tracts of land lying and being situated in the Morgan Rector League, Abstract No. 46, College Station, Brazoe County, Texas, and being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows: TRACT NO. 1 Being all that certain 7.11 acre tract or parcel of land, lying and being situated in the Morgan Rector League, Abstract No. 46, College Station, Brazos County, Texas, and being that same called 7.108 acre tract conveyed to Mayfield-Nilkerson-Jefferson Partnership #3 by Tomanet Land Corporation by deed recorded in Volume 690, Page 502 of the Official Records of Brasos County, Texas and being more particularly described by metes and bounds aa follows: COMMENCING at the west corner of Lot 19, Richards Addition, as recorded in Volume 137, Page 25 of the Deed Records of Drazos County, Texas; THENCE N 46°00'55" W for a distance of 359.56 feet to a point for angle point; THENCE N 46013'09'' # for a distance of 759.44 feet to the PLACE OF BRGINNING; THENCE N 46013'09" W for a distance of 413.00 feet to a point for corner, said point lying in the southeast right-of-way line of Texas State Highway No. 301 THENCE N 45044'49" E for a distance of 553.62 feet with said right-of-way line to a point for corner; THENCE S 53'43'27" S for a distance of 299.79 feet to a point for corner; w~ thc ex~¢ns£on of Sl,~llings St2,eot. UO b/ Ordinance No. ~.633 Page 2 THENCE S 77*53'25" E for a distance of 358.76 feet to a point for cornel'; THENCE S 31032'53'' W for a distance of 166.00 feet to a point for corner; THENCE S 78°09'51'' # for a distance of 359.19 feet to a point for angle point; THENCE S 51'00'45" W for a distance of 324.74 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING end containing 7.11 acres of land, more or less, from A-P Administrative-Professional to C-1 General Commercial. TRACT NO. 2 Being all that certain 3.70 acre tract or parcel of land, lying and being situated in the Morgan Rector League, Abstract No. 46, College Station, Brasos County, Texas, end being that same called 3.716 acre tract conveyed to Mayfield-#ilkerson-Jefferson Partnership #3 by Tomanet Land Corporation by deed recorded in Volume 690, Page 506 of the Official Records of Brazos County, Texas, and being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows: COMMENCING at the west corner of Lot 19, Richards Addition, as recorded in Volume 137, Page 25 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas; THENCE N 46*00'55" N for a distance of 359.56 feet to a point for angle point; THENCE N 46'13'09" # for a distance of 759.44 feet to a point for corner; THENCE N 51'00'45" E for a distance of 324.74 feet to a point for angle point; THENCE N 78'09'51" E for a distance of 359.19 feet to a point for corner; THENCE N 31'32'53" E for a distance of 166.00 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING; THENCE N 77°53'25' W for a distance of 358.76 feet to a point for corner; THENCE N 53043'27'' W for a distance of 299.79 feet to e point for corner, said point lying in the southeast right-of-way line of Texas Highway No. 30; THENCE N 45°44'49' E for a distance of 357.84 feet with said right-of-way line to a point for corner; 0026" Ordinance No, 1633 Page 3 THENCE S 44'55'04" E for a distance of 565.00 feet to a point for corner; THENCE S 31°32'53' W for a distance of 120.00 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING, and containing 3.70 acres of land, more or less, from A-P Administrative-Professional to C-1 General Commercial.
