AN ORDINANCE REZONING TWO TRACTS OF LAND, LYING AND BEING
SITUATED PARTLY IN THE ROBERT STEVENSON LEAGUE, ABSTRACT NO. 54,
AND PARTLY XN THE THOMAS CARUTRERS LEAGUE, ABSTRACT NO* 9,
COLLEGE STATION, BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS AND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY
DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE, FROM
A-O AGRICULTURE OPEN TO C-2 COMMERCIAL-INDUSTRIAL AND A-P
ADMINISTRATIVE-PROFESSIONAL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE
STATION, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the City Hall
at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 13, 1986 on the question of
rezoning certain areas within the City Limits;
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classification of all of a 28.11 acre
tract or parcel of land, lying and being situated partly in the
Robert Stevenson League, Abstract No. 54, and partly in the
Thomas Caruthers League, Abstract No. 9., College Station, Brazos
County, Texas, and being a portion of a 54.99 acre tract conveyed
by Joe A. Ferrari to Tex-J Ranches, Inc., by deed recorded ~n
Volume 753, Page 25, of the Official Records of Brazos County,
Texas, and being more partxcularly descrxbed by metes and bounds
as follows:
BEGINNING at the intersection of the northeast right-of-way line
of Texas State Highway No. 6, and the southeast right-of-way line
of Rock Prairie Road, said point being the most western corner of
said 54.99 acre tract:
THENCE: N 51°Ol'g for a distance of 875.0 feet to a point for
angle point;
THENCE: N 45°00'E for a distance of 962.8 feet w~th the
southeast right-of-way line of Rock Prairie Road to a point
corner, said point being at a bend in Rock Prairie Road;

THENCE: S 84'03'E for a distance of 525.00 feet with said right-
of-way line to s point for corner;
THENCE: S 06'57'W for a distance of 692.75 feet to a point for
angle point;

northeast right-of-way of State Highway No. 6 to the PLACE OF
BEGINNING and containing 26.11 acres of land, more or less from
A-O Agricultural Open to C-2 Commercial-Industrial.
To rezone or change the classifzcat~on of all of a 26.82 acre
tract or parcel of land, lying and being situated ~n the Thomas
Caruthers League, Abstract No. 9, College Station, Brazos County,
Texas, and being a portion of a 54.99 acre tract conveyed by Joe
A. Ferreri to Tex-J Ranches, Inc., by deed recorded in Volume
753, Page 25, of the Official Records of Brazos County, Texas,
and being more particularly described by metes and bounds as
follows:
COMMENCING at the intersection of the northeast right-of-way line
of Texas State Highway No. 6, and the southeast right-of-way line
of Rock Prairie Hoad, said point being the most western corner of

immediately.
