AN ORDINANCE REZONING A 10.03 ACRE TRACT OR PARCEL OF LAND LYING
AND BEING SITUATED IN THE ROBERT STEVENSON LEAGUE, COLLEGE
STATION, BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS, AND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY
DESCRIBED EY METES AND BOUNDS IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE FROM
LOW DENSITY APARTMENTS DISTRICT R-4 TO GENERAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT
DE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hesring
at 4:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 20, 1985 on
rezonlng certain areas within the City Limits;
in the City Hall
the question of
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classification of a]l that certain tract
or parcel of land lying snd being s~tuated in the Robert Stevenson
League in Brazos County, Texas, bexng a part of that 51.05 acre
tract conveyed to Area Progress Corporation by deed recorded in
Volume 429, Page 769 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas,
and a part of that 46.60 acre tract conveyed to Area Progress
Corporation by deed recorded in Volume 429, Page 766 of the Deed
Records of Brazos County, Texas, and being more particularly
described as follows:
BEGINNING zn the southeast lzne of Rock Prairie Road at the moat
northerly corner of Belmont Place section two, an addition to the
City of College Station, Texas;
THENCE S 33'40'47" E 1166.77 feet along the northeast line of
the said Belmont Place section two and continuing to the present
city limits lxne of the City of College Station;
THENCE N 56°19'13'' E - 484.38 feet along the clty limits line to
the south corner of a tract presently zoned C2;
THENCE along the southwest line of the said C2 zoned tract ss
follows:
N 33°40'47'' W - 144.84 feet to the P.C. of a curve to the left
(R=210');
Along the arc of saxd curve through a central angle of 14'20'16"
to the P.T. of said curve;
N 48°01'03" W - 697.98 feet to the P.C. of a curve to the right
(R=190');
Along the arc of said curve through a central angle of 17°51'33''
to the P.T. of said curve;
N 30°09'30" W - 170.04 feet to the southeast line of Rock Prairie
Road;

THENCE along the arc of a curve to the right in the southeast
of Rock Prairie Road (R=}020'), the chord of which bears
S 68'12'41" W - 316.67 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING snd
containing 10.03 acre of land more or less, from Low Density
Apartments District R-4 to Genera] Commercial D~strict C-1.
And, it is ordained that saLd change shall become effective
immediately.
