AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING A TEN FOOT PUBLIC UTILITY
EASEMENT ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF BLOCK 23, LOT 34 OF SOUTHWOOD
VALLEY SECTION 7-A, BEING 2816 HENRY COURT, IN COLLEGE STATION,
BRAZOS COUNTYv TEXAS.
WHEREAS, on August 22, 1985, the City Council of the City of Col-
lege Station, Texas, heard the application of Dan MacGilvray for
the vacation and abandonment of an easement platted on the south
side of Block 23, Lot 34 of Southwood Valley Section 7-A,
recorded in Volume 360, Page 623 of the Deed Records of Brazos
County, Texas, being 2816 Henry Court, College Station, Texas;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF COLLEGE
STATION, TEXAS:
Pursuant to the application and request filed with the City of
College Station that a ten foot (10') wide strip of land
previously platted as a utility easement on the south side of
Block 23, Lot 34 of Southwood Valley Section 7-A, be abandoned
and vacated; that the Mayor and City Secretary be authorized to
convey by quit claim deed on behalf of the City of College
Station any right or claim which the City has in and to said ten
foot (10') strip of land to Dan MacGilvray.

ADOPTED and APPROVED this 22nd day of August , 1985.
