AN O~DINANCE A~9~ING CF~U'.~K I, SECTION 11, SUB-SECTION B. (1) OF THE C~OE OF
O~DINANCES, CITY OF (I~'.r.~'-'E STATION, TEXAS, RELATING TO PERCenTAGE OF HOTEL
OCCUPANCY TAX, AND PB~VIDING F(~ AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT O~DAIN~D BY THE CITY (I~3NCIL OF THE CITY OF CO~.T.~.~. STATION, TEXAS, that
Chapter 1, Section 11, Sub-Section B. (1) of the Code of Ordinances of the City
of College Station is hereby amended to reed as follows:
(1) There is hereby levied a tax upon the cost
of occupancy of any room or space furnished by any hotel
where such cost of occupancy is at the rate of Two Dollars
($2.00) or more per day, such tax to he equal to six (6%)
percent of the consideration paid by the occupant of such
room to such hotel.
II.
It is ordained that this ordinance shall become effective from July 11, 1985 and
continuing in effect until June 30, 1986 in accordance with the City Charter of
the City of College Station.
