ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION. TEXAS, RR~ATING TO SPR~n ZONES
AbD SPECIFICALLY DESIGNATING ADDITIONAL AREAS IN THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION

RESCINDING AL[, PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HI~REWITH; AND D~CLARING THAT
ATrliNDANT FACTS NECESSITATE IIVI~IATE ACTION.
BE IT ORDAINSD BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION:
That Chapter 10, Section 3.E (2) of the Code of Ordinances, City of
College Station, Texas, is hereby amended by adding a sub-section to be
nambered 3.E (2j), which said sub-section shall read as follows:

SH 6 West Frontage Road, for traffic moving in a southerly
direction for the first 0.285 miles from the North City
Limit, the speed limzt shall be fifty {50) miles per hour.
For the next 0.835 mile the speed limzt shall be forty-five
(45) miles per hour. For the next 0.330 mile tho speed limit
shall be forty [40) miles per hour. For the next 0.350
mile the speed limit shall be forty-five [45) miles per
hour. For the next 0.675 mile the speed limit shall be fifty
(50) miles per hour. For the next 1.028 miles the speed
limit shall be fifty-five (55) miles per hour. For the next
0.250 mile the speed limit shall be fifty (50) miles per
hour. For the next 0.200 mile to tho intersection of Loop
507, the speed limit shall be forty-five (45) miles per hour.
For traflic moving in a northerly direclion, for the
first 0.200 mile from the intersection of Loop 507, the
speed Ilmit shall be forty-five (45) miles per hour.
For the next 0.250 miIe the speed limit shell he fifty
(50) miles per hour.
For the next 1.028 mile the speed limit shall be fifty-five
{551 miles per hour.
For the next 0.675 mile the speed limit shall be fifty
(50) miles per hour.
For the next 0.350 mile the speed limit shall be forty-five
(45) miles per hour. For lhe next 0.330 mile the speed
limit shall be forty (40) miles per hour. For the next
0.835 mile the speed limit shall be forty-five (45) miles
per hour. For [he next 0.285 mile to the North City
Limit, [he speed limit shall be fifty (50) miles per
hour.

~I]~REAS, the preservation of the general welfare of the public
necessitates l~nediate action, this Ordinance shall be effective from and
after the date o[ its passage as provided by the Charter of [he City of CoIlege
Station.
